This is the beginning of my adventure into vlogging. One discovery I have already made, is that in using Windows Movie Maker, the video must be published, not just saved as a video.
Sonja, really enjoyed your vlog and getting to know more about you. When you were at Bethel, I'm sure that you worked with Susan Brooks--one of my students who finished her doctoral program this past year.
I'm sure that you're learning a lot about teaching/parenting in your paraprofessional job, particularly from the perspective of a parent who sees the school both through the eyes of a teacher and a parent. The fact that you're getting this experience will stand you well when you do into the job market, which is currently quite tight. I also think that acquiring some technology skills is important in terms of obtaining a position, something that Karena Hunt will talk about when she visits the class.
I'm also wondering about whether you're building up a portfolio or a website for use in the job search--you could use the free Minnesota efolio for that to start collecting material.

I listened to that book last year--or maybe the year before--as an audio book. Have you read Marcus Zusak's other book, I am the Messenger? I'd definitely recommend it.
